Involve an office fit out company early to avoid substantial delays and cost

To give an example, one of our clients had already signed the lease on an office premises just before they approached us. Thinking that the office was ideal for them, it was situated in a great location, with excellent transport links, had adequate free parking and gave them the space they needed. When we went on site to assess the office fit out requirements, we identified that there was insufficient power supply to meet their needs. This resulted in a very expensive and time consuming exercise, not budgeted for, to arrange with the local energy supplier to increase power supply to the building.
