Having successfully delivered the design and fit out of their Redhill HQ reception area, SES Water plc offered Trevor Blake a new challenge.
An old back office area on the lower ground floor comprising an old storeroom, toilets, shower, kitchen, changing room and meeting room needed a new lease of life to help with staff expansion pressure in other parts of the building.
The refurbishment brief was to create a staff breakout area and kitchen where people could work, meet and eat away from their desk.
The final challenge was to ensure that all areas are also very hard wearing as it is to be used by both admin staff and the external works engineering team who work out in all weathers and have very muddy boots!
The design process was followed by an 8-week refurbishment programme which we delivered on time and on budget and the area is now being used extensively by the SES Water staff who are delighted with the result.
