We find that nine out of ten companies get in touch with us once they have already found new office premises. But they should be involving us much earlier on. The best time to contact your office fit out contractor is when you are evaluating potential office space.

Involve an office fit out company early to avoid substantial delays and cost

To give an example, one of our clients had already signed the lease on an office premises just before they approached us. Thinking that the office was ideal for them, it was situated in a great location, with excellent transport links, had adequate free parking and gave them the space they needed. When we went on site to assess the office fit out requirements, we identified that there was insufficient power supply to meet their needs. This resulted in a very expensive and time consuming exercise, not budgeted for, to arrange with the local energy supplier to increase power supply to the building.

Trevor Blake offers a free consultation which involves the assessment of location of services and power supply, and we would much prefer to come along to a potential office premises and find it?s not suitable than be in a situation with a client where they've already signed on premises that aren't entirely suitable.

Sometimes an office space can tick most boxes and needs alterations which can be done within their budget and timescale, in which case we can advise on-site of the cost of carrying those out.

So the message is, contact us early and get us on site before you sign on the dotted line.
