Space planning is something that we do automatically on every job, whether its a formal process that's documented and drawn up or a less formal approach taken on smaller projects. Over 20 years of undertaking office refurbishment have given us a kind of sixth sense into how an office space can be improved!

The kind of things we take into consideration when space planning are workflow, furniture, lighting, services, storage and power supply.

Quite often we find that its the office furniture that's prohibitive to an effective workflow. Companies hang on to furniture and plan around it when in fact, replacing furniture doesn't have to break the bank and with so many shapes, sizes and colours available, new office furniture can really give an office a lift as well as boosting staff morale and productivity.

Another area where problems arise is with storage and specifically lack of it. By adding high-density storage walls which double up as Office partitions, you can significantly boost storage capacity and solve problems associated with an open plan layout to boot.

With dead space, we sometimes find that bad lighting is the culprit which again, can easily be overcome.
