Office Refurbishment & Meeting Room Fit Out for BSRIA: A Modern Workspace Transformation

BSRIA engaged TB Fit Out to transform an under-utilised office area—previously occupied by desks—into a purpose-built meeting suite. Following the successful completion of Phase 1 of the office refurbishment, the client’s teams relocated to their new workspaces, allowing this next stage of redevelopment to begin.

We were tasked with converting the vacated area into a suite of four professional meeting environments: three dedicated meeting rooms and one executive boardroom. To maximise flexibility and functionality, two of the meeting rooms were designed with an acoustic folding wall, allowing them to be used independently or opened up to form a larger, multi-purpose meeting space.

To deliver BSRIA’s new meeting suite and boardroom, TB Fit Out carried out a comprehensive refurbishment package that transformed the former desk area into a high-quality, flexible workspace. The works included:

Asbestos removal, ensuring a safe and compliant environment before construction commenced
Replastering of all walls to create a smooth, modern finish ready for decoration
Air conditioning upgrades, providing efficient climate control across all new rooms
New electrical installation and data cabling to support power, connectivity and modern workplace requirements
Fibre cable installation for high-speed, reliable network performance
Audio visual integration, enabling each space to support presentations, hybrid meetings and digital collaboration
High-quality glass partitions supplied by Fusion, enhancing natural light and creating a professional aesthetic
Acoustic folding wall installed by Creatif, allowing two meeting rooms to merge into a larger multifunctional space
Decoration throughout, using Crown Chalky White on walls and crisp white woodwork for a clean, timeless finish
New flooring with Paragon Vital carpet tiles, providing durability and visual cohesion
Forza Doors installed in Black Ash Piceus, offering a premium appearance with full fire-door compliance
