The Project

Charterhouse is an Independent day and boarding School in Godalming, Surrey. Originally founded by Thomas Sutton in 1611 on the site of the old Carthusian monastery in Charterhouse Square, Smithfield, London, it educates over 800 pupils, aged 13 to 18 years, and is one of the original Great Nine English public schools.

Trevor Blake has been working for Charterhouse for over 10 years.  For this most recent project, we were appointed to strip out and refurbish student accommodation on an 8-week programme during the summer break to include:

  • Bedroom redecorations and new flooring
  • Complete refurbishment of Shower Rooms & WC’s
  • Electrical and lighting upgrades including new fire alarms
  • Door and ironmongery replacements throughout
  • New flooring to stairs, lobbies and corridors
