X2 Storey Berkshire Charity Office Building Redesign & Refurbishment

Trevor Blake Fit Out were appointed to undertake a redesign and refurbishment of a two-storey charity building in Berkshire. The charity themselves have been helping to support people since 1857.

The process started following a site survey and client brief with an initial design document which progressed to client discussions and was adapted to suit our client’s requirements.

With the order in hand Trevor Blake Fit Out Ltd carried out the refurbishment works, which included:

• Stripping out existing partitions, ceilings, lighting, flooring and kitchenettes.
• New solid and double-glazed partition walls built to form a new kitchenette & breakout area, new meeting rooms and reconfigured toilet layouts.
• Rewiring of electrical installations, replacement of lights, data and power installations including new distribution boards.
• Refurbishment of toilets with new sanitaryware, wall tiling and flooring.
• A kitchenette by Howdens kitchen which offers a wide range of options, an orange splashback, Zip Hydrotap, along with breakout furniture.
• Lee and Plumpton Office Furniture consisting of; bench desking, dividing screens, storage cupboards and a fitted storage wall by James Tobias.
• Forbo Tessera carpet tiles to open areas and meeting rooms along with a new Barrier Matt to the entrance lobby which is effective against removing dirt, grime and dust from footwear and helps to protect internal flooring from travelling outside elements.
• Forbo Allura flooring throughout the kitchenette / breakout room.
• PolyFlor Expona Flow fitted within the toilets for a durable and high quality finish.
• Redecoration of all walls and woodwork.
• A colour change of the external doors to dark grey by Sprayzone
• And finally, Kee Systems installed new access handrails in the same dark grey.

The end result for our client gave a revitalised look in design that matched their brand and professional image and gave staff and visitors a welcoming office space.
