SES Water plc supply 160 million litres of clean water every day to over 700,000 people in parts of Surrey, Kent and south London.
Their supply area is 322 square miles extending from Morden and South Croydon in the north to Gatwick Airport in the south and from Cobham, Leatherhead and Dorking in the west to Edenbridge in the east.
With over 2000 miles of water mains and have eight treatment works, 23 pumping stations and 31 operational service reservoirs and water towers the main Control Room, a secure facility located in their Redhill HQ, is an essential workplace dedicated to managing and monitoring the supply area.
Trevor Blake were appointed to design a new workplace that would improve the wellbeing of the Control Room staff who work in shifts of up to 12 hours.
The old Control Room had barely been touched for 20 years and was a dark and uninspiring place to be with old furniture, carpets and décor.
